My wife and I are regular visiitors to the Gold coast. Stayed at Meriton Southport for the first time in March. The accommodation is everything you look for when travelling. The rooms are well equipped and exceptionally clean. Car parking is easy and secure with good size parking spaces. The front desk reception staff could not be more helpfull. We also enjoyed the quiet environment and the lovely walks close by.We will certainly stay there on our next trip to the Gold Coast.

Fantastic lobby staff, very helpful and made checking in and out very easy, fantastic apartment, suited the needs of our family, enough room for everyone, quiet area, very impressed.

It was a very nice area where you are situated. Great place to stay and the 2 bedroom apartment we had was very spacious. Would recommend to anybody who wants to go to that area.

Nothing to improve, everything was excellent.In fact we stayed in about 10 differents hotels and appartments during our trip and meriton was the best by far

An excellent spot for a family, short walk to buses, shops and parkland. The Southport parklands can provide many hours of free fun for children, 10 - 15 minute walk to the express bus for Dreamworld & Movieworld & the two large water parks and a pleasant walk can be had by going beachside to Surfers Paradise. We found the hotel provided all we needed, it was a large 2 bedroom, very clean and modern apartment with views of the Broadwater and Spit.
We won't bother hunting for another place to stay next visit as this meets our needs and is very affordable. Thanks to Meriton a weeks holiday was made all the better.

We stayed here 2 weekends in a row attending functions locally. It was very reasonably priced, especially if you book via their own website. The apartments were spacious, clean, modern and very comfortable. I objected to pay $5 extra to park your car in the belief that when you favour an establishment with your business you should be able to park for free - however at the special prices they were offering I'm actually not surprised. I simply parked in the street.

we returned to stay at the meriton for our 3 night stay on the coast. as with the last staff great, clean and new facilities. friendly service and they had obviously listen to their reviews and purchased some pool deck chairs etc. well done meriton best hotel chain by far

Meriton Apartments Southport are definitely 5 star accommodation. The staff at booking in/out were very efficient & friendly. The very spacious one bedroom apartment was spotless and all fixtures and furniture were very modern. The bed was very comfortable. Located in a very quiet area and we did not have to contend with traffic noise. Parking was $5 per night. Overall it was great value for very modern apartments which are approx 1 year old.

I was exception impressed with the state of our rooms upon arrival! Im not sure how old the apartment in Southport is but it look brand new! The kitchen was impeccable, all utensils where spotless as was the open! It was an uplifting experience staying there!

Just got back from two nights at the Meriton Services Apartments Southport. I have to say I could not fault them. They are beautifully clean and fresh. The apartment is huge with full cooking facilities. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I will go back.

My partner and I stayed in a one bedroom apartment on the ground floor and even though we didn't have a view it didn't matter one bit as we had a small, private courtyard instead.
The apartment was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need which was very handy for us as we did some cooking ourselves to save some money. The pool area had plenty of sun in the afternoon but could benefit from some loungers.
The location was excellent, five minute drive from Surfers, ten to fifteen minutes to Pacific Fair and Draculas, very close to a motorway on ramp and only twenty minutes from the theme parks.
We had a very enjoyable holiday and the apartment was perfect for what we needed, would recommend it other travellers and would certainly stay again.

The rooms and amenities were all as shown on the web-site, excellent. Our family of two adults and two children(1 a teenager) were more than comfortable in our (very clean) three bedroom apt. Well appointed with air cond in each room and the daily room service with fresh towels etc made for a really great holliday.Close to Surfers & Cavill Mall and many other shopping centres(Australia Fair etc) and a good location for travelling to all the theme parks and far enough away from the rat race of the night revellers on the strip.Access to wireless internet,large Flat screen Tv's, secure carparking made for a Great home away from home while on holiday! We would definately recommend Meriton Serviced Apartments @ Southport to anyone that asks us where to stay in the Gold Coast. I would also like to point out that we ! always rent or take a car with us wherever we go for total freedom to do as we please.

What a fantastic place to stay, everything about it was first class, staff helpful and friendly, very professional. bedding great. room and view really nice, convenient to everything, would and have recommended it to all my friends, very impressed.

I have stayed at the Meriton apartments in Sydney, Broadbeach and highly commend you on the excellent customer service, facilities and accommodation. The Meriton represents value for money and I always recommend your apartments to friends and family.

Lovely stay at the Meriton Southport November 2011, a relatively new complex so everything - reception / hallways / rooms / fixtures and fitting were all still new and fresh. Very friendly staff. The Meriton is perfectly situated - close enough to walk to Surfers Paradise without being amoungst the hussle and bussle of Surfers P. Only stayed one night so unfortunately unable to enjoy their pool and gym....but will next time !!

We were really really impressed with the location, the friendly staff and the room! Luxury apartments at really competitive price. Facilities were top notch! Will definately stay again and will be organising a few nights for family and friends as gifts! Thank you very much - we had a really nice home away from home.

& he's sporting a cracked rib at the moment. The only thing better than the apartment was the staff. Extremely friendly, welcoming & helpful. I think The Mantra Hotel group could learn A LOT from Meriton. Thanks again for the wonderful stay, we will be back & have referred it to everyone we know, including those looking to attend the Commonwealth Games.

What a fantastic place to stay everything was first class from the staff to the room and all facilities, I would highly recommend the Meriton at Southport to any one.

Excellent stay, would definitely look at staying again if there is a special going, close to all amentities. Indoor pool was excellent apart from having to go across the road to use this facility. Excellent housekeeping staff, friendly and very helpfull as well as front counter staff.

your Southport staff were extremely efficient, polite and friendly. I and my granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My family and I were delighted with our stay at the Meriton. Everything was top class, clean, spacious and so nice. So much so, I have booked to stay again for another 5 nights in October. Once your'e used to that kind of holiday apartment, nothing else will do.

Our Stay at the Southport Meriton Serviced Apartment was Fantastic! Perfect for Families that want a Luxurious Stay, Away from all the Noises of the City & Very Close to all the Main Attractions. It was perfect for us as we have hired a Car for 4 days to visit the Big Theme Parks and the Secured Parking was just a Big Bonus. We would have rated our stay 10/10 and instead gave it a 9/10 due to the Pool facility was under maintenance during our stay & would have been perfect for use with the kids after hours. We would definitely be returning to this apartments on our next visit to Queensland and probably try out the Sydney Apartments too our next trip.

Simply Perfect is all I can say. We Recently Stayed at the Southport Meriton Apartments for 2 weeks whilst holidaying from Auckland New Zealand. Knowing the Gold Coast and local area we had no hesitation in making the Meriton our home for 2 weeks and found the location, complex, rooms, and especially the staff outstanding. We will have no hesitation in making this our home whilst on holiday on the Gold Coast in the future and although we would love to keep this place a secret, it really does speak for itself in being of a very high standard.

My husband and I were so impressed with all aspects of our stays. We actually had two weeks in July and enjoyed it so much that we returned for another two weeks in August.
The staff were so professional - on one occasion we were driving into the No.1 level car park and one of the house staff recognised us - he was on level 2 and he sent the lift down to us - I was very impressed with this kind thought.
The only draw back is that you can't select the aspect of your room. We always prefer the easterly aspect and on both occasions we had to pay additional cleaning to move at a later date even though I requested this aspect at the time of booking. I hasten to add that I was told that it may not be possible to fulfil this request. We have recommended your apartments to our friends and I know that at least ! 3 couples are going to visit in the near future. Many thanks for a lovely relaxing holiday

I really enjoyed my stay at the Meriton Serviced Apartments property. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful, and the location was just about perfect. Settled in a quiet area, near parks and the river, but still close to Surfer's Paradise, the location was just about perfect. Also just a short 8-12min. walk from the nearest supermarket. The view from our room was fantastic, and the beds were very comfortable, although a bit soft for my taste.
The apartment itself was very clean, and elegantly decorated.

Everything far exceeded our expectations, and we wished we had booked a longer stay, as the facilities were excellent. Next time, we shall definately book for longer than 2nights.

This property is brand new. Huge spacious rooms, no scuffs marks or carpet stains and it is absolutely beautifully furnished, very comfortable King beds and a great kitchen/dining area, and ofcourse good functional bathrooms. The grounds are well landscaped. The outdoor pool is the only feature not quite finished at this date (Aug.2011) Prices are presently surprisingly very low for a property of this quality. There are pleasant views from the upper floors but some of the rooms on the very low floors, although providing the same comforts and facilities, have no outlook at all. The apartments are located in three separate new buildings in a very quiet area. Only downside for some is that it is not quite within easy walking distance to the Gold Coast beaches and nightlife.

We stayed at the Meriton Southport for four nights and everything from the room to the great attitude and service by the staff, how the room was serviced - every thing was first class. The location was great and I will wont hesitate to stay there again when next on the coast

I stayed at the new Southport Gold Coast apartments overnight when I was on the Gold Coast. My boyfriend and I were stunned by how amazing not only the apartment was but the friendly service, how easy the booking and reservations and final check-in and check-out was. I had booked online and had requested a high floor with a view over the Broadwater and they gave us the top floor front apartment. The apartment itself was superb, very, very comfortable, a king size huge bed and everything so clean and tidy. Most of the kitchen implements were brand new and we felt like we wanted to stay much longer than one night. The next time we are in the area we will definately be staying at the Meriton Southport Apartments. I had left some items behind and when I telephoned about them I was told that they would hold them for! me until I came to collect them when I was next in town. I couldn't recommend the Meriton Southport Apartments more highly, the service was friendly, the apartment was amazing and the whole experience was one of the best I have had in an apartment on the Gold Coast.

I absolutely love Meriton Serviced apartments. Having stayed at Parramatta on several occassions and the World Tower on several more I highly recommend Sydney. Now having stayed at the Gold Coast there is nowhere else that I will ever stay. THank you for the hospitality the friendly and helpful staff. The apartments are always clean and make for a very relaxing holiday. When staying in Sydney it us generally on Business and it is always the same.

Excellence place and will not stay anywhere else for my next return to Gold Coast.

The service, staff and apartment were fantastic and very clean. My 8 year old son didn't wanted to leave and asked if we could live there. The swimming pool was also a great hit! 5 stars all the way

Obviously this was a brand new apartment so it was bound to be in good order. However, it was a superb apartment, well designed and well kitted out, and my only regret was that I hadn't planned to stay longer. I hope future guests will take care of it for my return visit!. In my opinion, Meriton is streets ahead of its competitors in Australia.

Brand new apartments, we were booked in a high floor as requested and had magnificient views of the Nerang river and Southport area. We were extremely happy with our stay and are planning our next holiday at the Meriton Southport!

With the experience we had with Meriton Serviced apartments, I can highly recommend not only your apartments but the staff - exceptional.

everything was great, I have even booked another night! We had a 2 bedroom apartment with some friends and it was excellent. Great to have our own bathrooms and privacy. Couldn't have been happier, except it would have been greta to be able to stay longer. I have just booked another night in a 1 br apt and again would love to stay longer! I will certainly be looking at these apartments for further visits and hopefully longer stays!

My 85 yrs old parents stayed in the beautiful apartment. They said they had never stayed in a cleaner, beautiful, convenient, newer, practical & scenic apartment than at the Meriton. We love Meriton.
