To ensure your stay at Meriton Serviced Apartments is an enjoyable and stress-free occasion we have provided some additional information for your stay during the festive season. 

Pre-payment for the night of the 31st December 2014 will be made to the credit card used at time of reservation. All other nights are to be paid for direct to reception on arrival with either a valid credit card or with cash.

Cancellations and amendments are permitted before 12-noon, 90 days prior to arrival. Any cancellations or amendments made after 12 noon, 90 days prior to arrival will receive no refunds or credits.

For any additional nights booked, payment and cancellations terms are noted on your confirmation.

Arrival / Departure time: 

Check-in time is after 14:00 (2pm)

Check-out time is prior to 10:00 (10am)

Late check-out after 10:00 - an extra nights rate will be charged

Valid Photo ID is required from all guests upon arrival:

Photo identification matching the name of the booking must be presented at time of check-in at all Meriton Serviced Apartment properties. This is required in order to verify your identity. A current drivers license, proof of age card or a passport are all acceptable forms of photo ID and must be presented prior to check-in.

Security Bond  / Credit Card Authorisation is required for all apartments at check-in:

A credit card authorisation (pre-auth) will be asked for at time of check in and will be used to cover incidental items such as (but not limited to):

  • Telephone, internet charges
  • Any breakages or damage incurred during your stay.
  • Any excessive cleaning charges, above the normal level of cleaning due to the apartment being left in an unacceptable state.
  • Any recreational charge e.g. Tennis racquet hire.
  • Additional servicing / cleaning charges.

We pre-authorise all credit cards upon arrival. Please note this process validates the presented credit card, and protects both the cardholder and merchant from increasing fraud incidents. We may pre-authorise a credit card for any charges we determine that the guest may be likely to consume during their stay. This may also include an amount to cover a security bond / deposit for damages. The pre-authorised amount is set aside by the credit card company for a period of up to 10-days. The pre-authorisation will affect your available funds and / or spending limit. For more information on this practice we suggest the cardholder contact their card issuer. 

The minimum amount of funds we pre-authorise is as follows:

  • Studio Apartments, Cube Apartments, 1-Bedroom Apartments & SOHO Apartments = $100
  • 2-Bedroom Apartments = $200
  • 3-Bedroom Apartments = $300

Once a pre-authorisation has been made, we cannot release, remove or lower the authorised amount, until we process the final account on departure. This is a restriction placed on us by the bank and cannot be negotiated.

Penthouse Apartments -  Security Bond  / Credit Card Authorisation is required at check-in:

A credit card charge (bond) for all penthouse bookings will be taken at time of check in and will be used to cover incidental items such as (but not limited to):

  • Telephone, internet charges
  • Any breakages or damage incurred during your stay.
  • Any excessive cleaning charges, above the normal level of cleaning due to the apartment being left in an unacceptable state.
  • Any recreational charge e.g. Tennis racquet hire.
  • Additional servicing / cleaning charges.

A bond will be charged for all penthouse bookings upon arrival. Upon departure the bond will be refunded to your credit card. For domestic credit card holders this process may take up to 48 hours. If you’re an international card holder this may take longer depending on your financial institution.

The minimum bond amount that is charged for Sub-Penthouse & Penthouse Apartments = $1,000.

Once a charge has been made, we cannot release, remove or lower the charged amount, until we process the final account on departure.  

For our cash paying guests a cash bond must also be presented on arrival:

The amount is $200.00 if you have booked a studio, Cube or 1-bedroom apartment, $400.00 if you have booked a 2-bedroom, $600 if you have booked a 3-bedroom and $1500 if you have booked a Sub-Penthouse apartment or a Penthouse apartment.

No Noise and No Party Policy:

Meriton Serviced Apartments enforces a strict No Noise No Party Policy.
This booking/s is subject to our No Noise No Party Policy.

This policy includes a maximum occupancy per apartment, as follows:

Studio / Cube / 1 Bedroom Apartment - 2 persons

2 Bedroom Apartment - 4 persons

3 Bedroom / Sub-Penthouse / Penthouse - 6 persons

All Meriton Serviced Apartments are NON-SMOKING.

Special Requests:

Whilst we aim to meet all special requests, these cannot be guaranteed. Please ensure you advise our reservations team prior to arrival if you wish to make any special requests for your stay.
SPECIFIC VIEW / APARTMENTS / FLOORS CANNOT BE GUARANTEED.

Travel Insurance:

We recommend that, at the time of booking, you consider purchasing a travel insurance policy of your choice. Travel insurance can be purchased at most travel agencies.

Road Closures:

On Wednesday 31st of December 2014, there may be road closures that effect travel to Meriton Serviced Apartment properties. Please visit the Roads and Traffic Authority website as it gets closer to your arrival to plan your method of transport.

Bedding:

Please advise of any alternative bedding requirements 24-hours prior to arrival otherwise standard (King Bed) configurations will apply.  No further action is required if your preferred bedding is King Bed/s. Bed split fees may apply.

Car Parking:

Car parking is available onsite and undercover. Parking may be pre-requested at time of booking however is best arranged with reception on arrival. Additional parking fees apply so please contact our reservations office for details.

Street parking when available is regularly patrolled by the local authorities and we accept no responsibility if you choose to park off site.

Baby Cots:

Baby cots are available at all of our properties. These must be reserved prior to arrival as we have limited supply. Fees apply for the hire of a baby cot. Alternatively, you may bring a portable version of your own.
