We booked the harbour view Penthouse (2001) for a surprise birthday for my wife. I had arranged for our family to meet us here for special weekend. The Penthouse apartment is sensational. Really large, well appointed with a fabulous view through the floor to high ceiling windows. Lots of balcony space too.
Everything was going wonderfully until the neighbors booked in for a hens night celebration. Two shopping trolleys of booze followed. When we returned from dinner the noise and fighting including banging on our door grsdually got worse. As the strictly no partying policy was clearly displayed to be seen and it was now 1.30am we called security and after two visits some of the chaos subsided. Whilst this is disappointing it didn't spoil our stay.
But when a different set of neighbors booked in the following night playing loud music , banginging doors and yelling we had had enough!
When you book apartments of this quality and pay the prices charged knowing that there is a no party policy should be enough to ensure a trouble free stay. Unfortunately this was not the case. Even though security arrived promptly and did their job effectively you should not have to put up with such behavior.
Nice property, bad neighbours or bad luck?

A decent coffee is a must first thing in the morning. Other than that, the penthouse was amazing , not to mention HUGE; the views were stunning and the walk-in wardrobe in the main bedroom is roughly the size of my house in Melbourne (nearly). Great stay!
